CHILDREN'S DAY AT THE MISSION, April 28, 201804/30/2018
Lots of craft tables, lots of eager children with parents in hand, and volunteers and park staff to demonstrate and instruct in crafts from the mission era such as candle making, wool carding and drop-spinning, embroidery, basketry, leather work, and making corn husk dolls and bead jewelry. Everyone had a grand time. All the events went smoothly and smiling children departed with their creations in hand. For many families this is an annual event. Thanks to the park staff and volunteers who planned and organized this Children's Day, manned the craft tables and made sure that everyone had a good time.
