CHILDREN'S DAY AT THE MISSION05/11/2016
Once again Children's Day was a great success. The day was nice and sunny, with families happily dipping candles and dressing cornhusk dolls. Our new basket technique proved to be popular and productive. Families enjoyed the cornbread from the horno and cold lemonade. Making jewelry and the hoop and stick game were equally well-liked. It was unfortunate that the Pomo dancers were unable to perform that day, but they should be back next year. A big thanks goes out to all the wonderful volunteers who came and helped.
